How to Use AI to Write Emails Without Losing Your Own Voice

Have you ever wished writing an email could be a little easier?
AI can help you find the right words, organise your thoughts and save time. But one of the most important things is making sure your emails still sound like you.
The lovely thing is, you don't need to be an expert to begin.
A little example from our founder
Janina, the founder of Wonderfully AI, uses AI to help with emails almost every day. She usually starts with her own words, either jotting down her thoughts or simply speaking them aloud. Then she asks AI to help organise and polish what she's said, while keeping her meaning and natural way of speaking.
The thoughts are hers. AI simply helps them flow.
Three simple things to try
1. Start with your own thoughts. You don't need to write a perfect draft. A few sentences or even some messy notes are enough to begin.
2. Let AI know how you'd like to sound. Friendly, professional, warm or casual? You can tell AI the tone you prefer and ask it to keep your natural way of speaking.
3. Always give it a final read. Check that the details are correct, the message says what you intended and it genuinely sounds like you.
Here's one little prompt to get you started
✏️ Tip: copy this prompt, paste it into your AI app, then replace the words in [square brackets] with your own details before you send it. For example [what you'd like help with] becomes planning a birthday dinner.
Please help me turn these notes into a warm, clear email. Keep my meaning and use my own words where possible. Don't add information I haven't given you: [your notes]
And that's it! One simple way to begin exploring AI in everyday life.
Remember to leave out private or confidential details when using an AI tool, and check your workplace's rules if you're writing business emails.
